Where in the world is Wantage and is lunch going to be as difficult as it was last year?
Wantage is in Oxfordshire and I have placed directions here: http://www.WitchyCon.co.uk/site.htm and lunch can be procured from a number of establishments which I have listed below with sample menus and distance from the conference venue so that lunch can be quickly and easily procured.
Thai Resteraunt Yummy Thai - Lunch served from 12 - 3pm. - Starters from £1 - average price £4.75 (eg chicken wings). Soups around £5 (eg. Won Ton Soup), Main dishes like curries, fish or Veggi dishes around £5.50 (eg chicken mas sa man). There's also rice from around £1.75 for steamed rice to £6.50 for fried rice in chili oil
Blue Boar Pub - Lunch served 12 - 4pm only - Nice pub fare with starters from £1.45 averaging £3 (eg Crispy Nachos), Salads for around £5.50, main meals for around £5.50 (eg beef lasagne), burgers around £4, and dessert. Lunch in a hurry with Hot and cold baguettes costing on average around £4.50 plys jacket potatoes, wraps and side orders.
Bakers Oven - Open 8am - 5pm - standard chain fare like tosties, potatoes, sandwiches, soup and drinks.
Madison Tea Room Open 9am - 4pm but VERY BUSY at lunch - huge range of hot and cold drinks averaging around £1.50, all day brekkie, brekkie baps, scones with all sorts, crumpets with everything from butter to blue stilton, and sandwiches, toasties or ciabatta with a huge range of fillings.

Arbery - Lunch Served 12 - 3pm - go through Victoria Cross Gallery to get there fast - Gor for the bar or the resteraunt. AT the Bar: Baguettes, sandwiches and tortilla wraps filled with everything from egg & mayo to steak & onion but also lots of veggie options (5) like cheese & pickle all average in the £4 - £5 range. Jacket potatoes in meat or veggie options around £4.50 and omlettes all at £6.95, Paninis around £5, Burgers (veggie or meat) around £5.50 and an all day brekkie at £6.25 plus usual bar fare of nachos, potato skins, mushrooms, peawns and soup. IN the Resteraunt: posh starters like pate, rustic soup or anti-pasta to share mostly around £4, main meals such as salmon fish cakes, smothered chicken or steak and guinness casserole around £6.50, pizza around £6.50, pasta like lasagne or tortellini around £6 and salads like chicken caesar or smoked salmon and crayfish around £6.
