WitchyCon 2007 FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is there going to be a WitchyCon 2007?
   SURE IS!

2. Do I have to know anything about witchcraft to attend?
   Nope. You can be completely in the dark and still have great fun attending. All these lectures and events are aimed at a beginner audience.

3. Do I have to be pagan to attend?
   Nope again! You can be anything you want to be, as long as you come clothed and behave respectfully. We ask that you are open-minded towards alternative religions and spiritualities such as pagan, new age, occult, spiritualism, shamanism or the like. Anyone who is disruptive or who joins to disrupt the event in any way will have their membership revoked and therefore will be unable to attend or continue attending.

4. Can I bring a friend?
   SURE! As long as everyone has their own membership, come as a group!

5. What's a 'Con Pack'?
   It is a'Convention Pack' which will include a schedule of the days events so you have a paper of what's going on where, information and other items. The flyers in the con pack are provided by the people who have tables at the convention and other organizations who support the convention such as Hay House who provided tons of books for WitchyCon 2005, Harvest Shadows who sent books over from the US for WitchyCon 2005, Phoenix Publishing who supplied us with the most beautiful copper covered books of shadows we'd ever seen for WitchyCon 2005, and Spiral Publishing who sent us from the US a beautiful hard bound lined book of shadows filled with beautiful artwork by the Ink Witch for WitchyCon 2005.

6. Where and when will the accounts be published?
   The accounts for WitchyCon 2005 have been published on the Member Notices page.

7. Do I need to study for the lectures?
   Not at all. These are meant to be fun and enjoyable and really engage your intelect as well as teach you something new.

8. Will there be a test at the end?
   Nope - just good friends, fun, and shopping.

9. Can just anyone join?
   In order to become and stay a member, you do have to apply and be approved. Membership can be revoked at any time by the committee should an individual not comply with the further aims of the conference committee. Can you spot the covering our butts statement? *smiles*

10. Will there be other activities at the conference than those listed?
    YES! There will be the opportunity to join in other activities that our members organize during breaks and after the lectures have finished. These include a quiz, mini lectures, rants and anything really - HAVE FUN!
